Sorry, now sold

This is a Barker 36″ bar-bed lathe with Serial Number 2470/404, which according to Tony Griffiths excellent, indicates that this machine could be dated to February 1947, with this being the 303rd machine to be built. Please do take a look at the Barker lathes information that Tony has collated to find out more about this model of lathe.

It is fitted with a 1HP 240V single phase motor, with a control switch that permits forward and reverse operation of the spindle.

  • collet holder for use in spindle plus selection of collets
  • various change gears
  • drill chuck for use in tailstock
