This is a Myford Super 7 lathe serial number SK145295 with power cross feed and fitted with the quick change gearbox serial number QC144073. The machine serial number dates the year of manufacture to 1979
There is also a thread dial indicator fitted to the carriage, and a 4-way tool post on the top slide. The micrometer dials to the cross slide and top slide are numbered 0 to 90, indicating this is an imperial lathe.
It has a Brook Crompton Motors 1425RPM, 550W, 240V motor with a Dewhurst switch allowing forward / reverse operation.
It has brand new vee belts on the primary drive motor to countershaft and secondary drive countershaft to spindle, a new spindle lubrication wick and a new wiper felt.
