Sorry, now sold

This is a Myford Super 7 lathe bearing the serial number SK57404 which dates it to somewhere around 1962 and 1963.
The micrometer dials to the cross slide and top slide are imperial and the machine is fitted with a screw cutting dial indicator.
The machine benefits from having had a full strip down service and inspection as part of the process of preparing it for sale. It has brand new vee belts on the primary drive motor to countershaft and secondary drive countershaft to headstock, plus a new wiper felt. For good measure, the oil nipples have all been replaced with new items. The condition of the lead screw nuts can be seen in the final photo.
It is fitted with a 240V single phase motor wired with a switch to allow forward and reverse operation of the spindle.
Also included are the following accessories …
- TOS 100mm 3 jaw self centering chuck
- 7″ face plate
- 4 1/2″ Myford V1106 catch plate
- drill chuck with MT2 mount for use in the tailstock
- MT2 dead centre for use in the tailstock
- selection of change gears
- copy of a Myford lathe operating manual and book
Please review the photos and video to assess the condition of this item. Note that at some point in time a former owner has refreshed the paint finish to the machine. The machine is also fitted with an ML7 tailstock which is interchangeable in terms of centre height and spindle taper with the Super 7 model.
