Sorry, now sold

This is a Myford ML7 lathe bearing the serial number K11852 which dates the year of manufacture to 1950.
The micrometer dials to the cross slide and top slide are imperial, as is the leadscrew handle. There is also a screw cutting dial indicator fitted. As some point during its lifetime a former owner has changed the colour scheme from the normal grey to blue with red detailing.
The machine benefits from having had a full strip down and inspection as part of the process of preparing it for sale. It has brand new vee belts on the primary drive motor to countershaft and secondary drive countershaft to headstock, plus a new wiper felt. The movement of the carriage along the bed feels consistent along its full length. The condition of the lead screw nuts can be seen in the final photo.
Also included are the following accessories….
- 100mm 3 jaw self centering chuck plus chuck key
- 7″ face plate
- Two drill chucks with MT2 mount for use in the tailstock
- MT2 dead centre
- selection of change gears
