This is a Myford Super 7 lathe bearing the serial number SK155523 which dates it to the year range 1979 to 1985. It is fitted with Myford gearbox serial number QC154869, and it has power cross feed plus there is a screw cutting dial indicator fitted.
It has a Newton Tesla CL750 high performance variable speed controller powering a 1HP motor – this speed controller plugs into a standard 240V single phase socket, and provides the 3 phase conversion to the smooth running motor. Alternatively, it can be supplied with a 240V single phase 550W 1425 RPM Brook Crompton Parkinson motor wired for forward rotation at a lower price, please contact me for details of the saving of this option.
It has brand new vee belts on the primary drive motor to countershaft and secondary drive countershaft to headstock, plus a new spindle wick and wiper felt has been fitted.

Note that the gearbox has been drained of oil ready for shipping, it will need to be refilled with ISO VG 68 oil when you commission this lathe in your workshop. There is also a repair to the rear plate of the change wheel back plate close to the hinge.
