This is an EMCO Maximat V10-P lathe, with gearbox and power cross feed as indicated by the P suffix to the model number. The right hand end of the bed is stamped with the serial number C47601054Z.
It is powered from a standard 240V single phase supply, and the switches allow forward and reverse rotation of the spindle.
The graduations to the hand wheels on the slides and carriage are marked 0.001″ indicating that they are imperial scales.
It is mounted on an EMCO cabinet with a lockable cupboard to the left hand end. Usefully, there is a removable tray in the middle section of the stand, making it easy to dispose of accumulated swarf.

- EMCO 3 jaw chuck with inside and outside jaws plus key
- EMCO 4 jaw chuck plus key
- faceplate
- quick change tool post plus a number of tool holders
- handle to manually drive the spindle
- 2MT chuck for use in the tailstock
- 2MT live centre
- 2MT die holder for use in the tailstock
- 3MT to 2MT sleeve which fits the spindle

Collection in person of this item is available. The lathe should fit into an estate car or small van, and the stand can be dismantled into the end units plus the middle section. If delivery is required, the length of the lathe plus stand makes it fractionally too long to fit onto a standard pallet – so if you live within approx 4 hours drive time from me, I can deliver at cost that reflects van hire and fuel charges. Alternatively if you are further afield, I can ship on an oversize pallet – there is likely to be an additional cost for doing this, please check with me for the cost.
