This is a Boxford CUD lathe with metric threads and power feeds.
It has the manufacturers marking of CUD-II-26626 stamped on the tail of the bed which dates it to approximately 1971.
Included with it are the following items …..
- quick change tool post and 5 tool holders
- change gears – 60T, 56T, 52T, 48T, 44T, 40T, 36T, 32T, 28T, 24T, 54T/18T in addition to the 3 large ones fitted in the photos
- 3 jaw self centring Taylor scroll chuck + key
- 2MT Jacobs No.33 drill chuck + key
- 2MT dead centre
The motor is a single phase 240V 1425 RPM unit
There is also a nice engineers lamp fitted to the tray – although it is not wired into the power supply, so it is untested
I will ship this item to UK mainland addresses (excluding highlands) bolted to a pallet and wrapped in pallet film.
