This is a Myford Super 7 lathe bearing the serial number SK127921 which dates the year of manufacture to between 1974 and 1974. Power cross feed is fitted as standard to this lathe. The serial number of the quick change gearbox is QC127536.
The micrometer dials to the cross slide and top slide are imperial, as is the leadscrew handle and rule markings to the tailstock spindle barrel. There is also a screw cutting dial indicator fitted. The tailstock is operated by a useful capstan lever mechanism.
There is a Newton Tesla ML750 high performance variable speed control unit to provide near silent operation the 0.75KW motor by BFM of Sheffield.
It has brand new vee belts on the primary drive motor to countershaft and secondary drive countershaft to headstock, plus a new spindle wick and wiper felt.

- 3 jaw self centering Pratt Burnerd 1588-10130 chuck with matched inside and outside jaws, plus chuck key
- 4 1/2″ Myford V1106 catch plate
- 7″ face plate
- Quick change tool post plus 8 tool holders

- MT2 dead centre
- Operating manual for the lathe and variable speed unit
Note that the gearbox has been drained of oil, ready for shipping. It will need to be refilled as part of commissioning this lathe in your workshop.
