Myford Super 7B long bed lathe SKL141099

This is a Myford Super 7 long bed lathe with power cross feed and a quick change gearbox. The lathe serial number is SKL141099 which dates the year of manufacture to between 1976 and 1979, and the quick change gearbox serial number is QC140087.

Power to the lathe is derived from a single phase 220/240V 1425RPM 550W motor by Hawker Siddeley Brook Crompton Parkinson Motors.

The lathe is mounted on a Myford long bed industrial cabinet, with integral switch gear to provide forward / reverse operation of the motor.

The lathe is fitted with imperial dials to the cross slide, top slide and leadscrew handwheel.

It has brand new vee belts on the primary drive motor to countershaft and secondary drive countershaft to headstock, plus a new spindle lubrication wick and wiper felt has been fitted.

The lathe will be mounted on the stand which will be bolted onto an oversize pallet for delivery.

The quick change gearbox has been drained ready for shipping, so it will need to be refilled as part of commissioning this item in your workshop
